The Coma

The Coma with Fabian in the lead and co-producing role with Mickey Dube who is also directing was adapted from the stage play written by Canadian based writer Jude Idada. The film is to be shot in South Africa, Los Angeles and Nigeria.

'The Coma' follows two siblings battling over the life of their ailing mother who is in a coma. One wants to pull the plug. The other wants to keep her alive. One is male and the other female with one residing in Lagos and other in California, United States. In a battle of wills, dark family secrets come to light, relationships are shattered and the true meaning of love is revealed. The film touches on the African attitude and perspective to the modern day debate on euthanasia.
